Popular subjects include “How to Be Interesting,” “The 10 Blocks to Creative Thinking,” and “How to Beat the #1 Conversion Killer.”  Good stuff, eh?  There’s something for everyone here, from the aspiring copywriter to the resident expert.  Check it all out at CopyBlogger.com and you’ll find lots of help to improve your written communication skills.


If you work with a remote assistant or maybe an outsourcing provider, one of the challenges is being able to explain to them what you want them to do.  I mean, you could send them an email but trying to explain a process in a written format is very difficult to understand on the receiving end.  The very best way would be to actually sit together in the same room and view one computer screen together as you walk through what you would like accomplished.

Well, you will be pleased to know that I’ve discovered a resource that is the next best thing to doing that.  It’s called Twiddla.com, and I can’t say enough good things about it.

All you -- and anyone you wish to collaborate via Twiddla with -- need to have is an Internet connection.  From the Twiddla home page, click on the "Go" button in the middle of the screen to start a new meeting, and the screen will instantly transform into a new mode.  In the right-hand corner at the top of the screen, you’ll see a link to a Web page that you copy and then send to the person you want to collaborate with – you can send the link via email or Skype or that kind of thing.

Then you’ll both see the exact same screen on your computers.  Once you’ve got that screen displayed, you can bring up a web site within the viewer.  You could draw objects; you can write text; you can circle things.  And both of you -- and anyone else that you’ve sent that URL link to, I don’t think there’s a limitation -- can all see and interact simultaneously.  The system also allows you to send and receive files, and chat, just like other instant messaging software. 

It’s a very full-featured system, and it’s quite remarkable that you don’t even need to register to use it, which also means it’s completely free.  As you can tell, I’m a big fan of this resource: It’s really useful, it works well, and it's the easiest way to communicate with outsourcing workers.
