The music business serves as a cautionary tale about what can happen when an entire industry digs in its heels and fails to adapt. What can small business learn from that example?

Struggling through tough economic times is nothing new for small business owners, and it takes creativity, fortitude and perseverance to see it through. But the economy isn’t always the cause of tough times. Sometimes industries get phased out through changing technologies and a subsequent inability or unwillingness to adapt. Case in point: the music industry.
