SAP Rolls Out BI Software for Small Business

Business intelligence (BI) software used to be a tool available only to big business with big budget. But the need to analyze business data to help determine where a company needs to focus its time and money applies to any business, irrespective of its size.

Fortunately, over the past few years the BI market has changed — to the point where even the big players, like SAP, have created BI products designed specifically for small business. Read about the newest options available from SAP.




SAP (NYSE: SAP) today unveiled a pair of business intelligence (BI) offerings for small businesses, Crystal Server 2011 and the 4.0 release of BusinessObjects Edge Business Intelligence.

The renamed Crystal Reports Server is an entry-level BI solution for small businesses and departments. It offers self-serve data search and exploration in addition to the core functionality of report and dashboard viewing.
