Do good things come in threes? Samsung thinks so and offers up troikas of LCDs and laser printers.

Samsung's latest product announcements include two sets of triplets — new additions to its SyncMaster desktop displays include a 19-, 20- and 22-inch widescreen LCD, while the company's printing division has produced the ML-2500 Series consisting of three laser printers for the SOHO crowd.

Designed for both retail and commercial use, the new widescreen monitors include the 19-inch 940BW, the 20-inch 205BW and the 22-inch 225BW. All three feature what Samsung calls a "slim design and ultra-narrow bezel," both digital and analog dual inputs and a built-in power supply.

A company spokesman says the monitors' widescreens provide an improved, "more natural viewing experience," and that the quick response times produce crisp, clear images while reducing blurriness.

Samsung says the displays suit the needs of businesses in a range of industries including manufacturing, engineering, banking, food service, transportation and health care.

A Pack of Printers
The new ML-2500 Series consists of three monochrome laser printers aimed at the small- and home-office workers. The ML-2510 replaces Samsung's popular ML-2010, and, the company says, is 30 percent smaller than other laser printers in its class.

The ML-2570 and ML-2571N printers offer USB 2.0, parallel port connectivity, a 10,000 page per month duty cycle and support Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. The 2571N offers network connectivity as a standard feature (it's optional in the 2570)

All three printers share a compact design, print speeds of up to 25 pages per minute and a cost-per-page of 2.7 cents. They also come with a one-button ToneSaver feature designed to save 40 percent on toner costs.
