How did you come to run your own business? Every entrepreneur has a story to tell, and this week Andrew Lock takes a few minutes to share his path to success. In addition, he shares more of his spot-on marketing advice to help you “get more done and have more fun.”

Many of you ask about how I came to live in the USA, so I start this episode with my story, going back to my humble beginnings as a cameraman in Britain. Do any elements of my background and story resonate with you? Let me know!

Our question this week is about online video, specifically whether it’s possible to embed a video in an e-mail. Also, I show you the best method for distributing videos online via a service that you control rather than a third-party provider.

Attention Twitter users! I’m sure you’d agree that it’s a pain to do quick updates on Twitter because you either have to open a browser or another software tool. Viewer Tammy Fennell has come up with a great solution in the form of a little app that resides in the corner of your desktop. It’s a great idea.

The big marketing lesson is from WinCo supermarkets. Winco is a new provider in our area (Salt Lake City) and it certainly got people’s attention with incredibly low prices. It used a specific strategy with its advertising that you should be incorporating in your business. Find out more in this episode.
