Understand Your Customers' Personalities to Increase Sales

If you know and understand the four different types of personalities, you can reach customers in a more effective way, and boost sales in the process.

One-size fits all is a myth, particularly when you're talking about your customers. Try to wedge them all into the same limiting mold and you can just sit back and watch them disappear. That's what we call "a bad thing." So what can you do? It's not rocket science; treat your customers as the individuals that they are.

Now, that doesn't mean you won't find – and can’t take advantage of – similarities, and that's where The Quant Method comes into play. According to my personal survey results from The Quant Method (TQM), I'm a diplomat personality: I'm sympathetic, friendly, helpful and open. I'm also introspective, warm, altruistic and positive. As a charismatic, creative and imaginative person, TQM says I would do well in a leadership role.

Now, an individual's personality traits might not mean much to you, unless they happen to be on your retail website looking to make a purchase or on your email marketing list.
